Rescue workers stand by as a bulldozer clears the rubble of a U.N building after twin truck bombings by an affiliate of al-Qaida targeted U.N. offices and a government building Tuesday, killing at least 31 people, Algiers, Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. Some estimates of the final death toll from Tuesday's attacks climbed well above the official Algerian government figures, with a hospital official saying at least 60 were killed and Algeria's independent daily El Watan saying up to 72 were killed and 200 wounded.
