Abstract
In our contribution, we propose to deal with the role of the main character of the
referent of a story in narrative identity in the sense that it only be achieved through
the different times of the referent. To effectively address this issue, we have chosen
the example of Lwali n udrar «Holy Mountain" of Belaid At-Ali. The analysis of
our text has enabled us to identify all the transformations experienced by the main
character throughout the text in the identity of its designation. The character of
Lwali n udrar of Belaid At-Ali is built around the developments and changes in the
identity of his appointment in time and space without forgetting the role played by
other characters.
