Abstract: The variations of properties physico-mechanics of the polyethylene films during exposures to natural site Ghardaïa are associated with the structural and morphological changes suffered during the degradation of the polymeric chains. Oxidation reactions and their kinetics are responsible for the degradation of this material and are highly dependent on climatic conditions, the period of exposure and the nature of the polymer.
