Accélération Du Processus De Solidification D’un Matériauà Changement De Phase (mcp) Intégré Dans Un Mur De Bâtiment Local



The systems using Phase Change Materials (MCPs) are among the best techniques of energy storage because of their important latent heat. MCPs are very effective, economic, and ecological. Many research centers in the world have projects and studies on MCPs. these materials can be used in the building to ensure the thermal comfort and to minimize the great consumption of electricity due to the use of air-conditioning’ systems (of vapor compression). The objective of this research is to study the solidification’s process of a MCP integrated within a wall of the local building by a fresh air flow (air-conditioner for example), to calculate the total solidification time and to determine the favorable condition (thickness, MCP,…) to make the MCP ready to stabilize the temperature at 27°C during the following day. We have formulated this problem by using a model of conduction. The mathematical model is solved by the enthalpy method and the finite-difference discretizations.
