In this study, we are trying to discuss the size and the nature of the political and functional roles that the historian Abd El-Rahmen Ibn Khaldoun presented in the ZIANIST Middle Maghreb. Unlike his brother YAHIA Ibn Khaldoun who was a bailiff (hadjib) of Sultan Abou Hamou Moussa II, the nature of the FUNCTIONS and services that Abd El-RAHMEN Ibn Khaldoun diAbsplayed to the ZIANIST state might have been higher and superior considering the fact that Abd El-Rahmen Ibn Khaldoun was in the middle of the ZIANI-HAFSI conflict over BIJAYA, this latter for which many Arabic tribes were mobilized. In fact Abd El-Rahmen Ibn Khaldoun had an incorporealauthority on those tribeswhich in one hand made the ZIANIST authority trying to use it in order to gain those Arabic tribes; and in another hand, Abd El-Rahmen Ibn Khaldoun was both a vivacious figure and a witness in one of the periods of the ZIANI-MRINI clash around the rule during Sultan Abou Hamou Moussa II.
