دراسة قياسية للطلب على الواردات المنقولة بحراً إلى الجزائر خلال الفترة (2000–2015)‏

The purpose of this study is the identification of the determinants that have an impact on the ‎import demand by maritime transport in Algeria based on annual accounts during 2000-2015 and ‎by using the method of least squares. The results of this study have shown that port costs are not ‎considered as factors, which limit the movement of imported goods, and moreover there is a ‎strong relationship between the exchange rate and the volume of imports carried out by sea, ‎considered as one of the most important determinants for import demand by maritime transport ‎in Algeria. The results have also confirmed the role and importance of international reserves as a ‎factor determining imports by maritime transport in Algeria‎
