ملخص: تطرقُنا لموضوع اصطلاحية المصطلحات التقنية يجبرنا لا محالة على الخوض فيما تعرض له السابقون ممن ترجموا واصطلحوا، سواء أكانوا أهل تخصص أم لا. من الخوارزمي إلى ابن إسحاق إلى ابن سينا إلى ابن البيطار إلى غيرهم، وغيرهم كثير كثرة التقنيات التي تبنوها كل على حدة، وكل وعلى ما اعتمد، وكل وما لاحظ واستنتج. إذ أن لغة الضاد رغم قدمها وثرائها إلاّ أن تحيين ثروتها المفرداتيةِ كغيرها من لغات العالم كان ولا يزال من ضمن أولى أولويات المصطلحيين والمترجمين إن كان الهدف واضحاً - وهو كذلك حسب ظني - ترجمة دقيقة لـ وبمصطلحات أدق. Abstract : Tackling the subject of technical terminology would inevitably push us to analyze what has been realized by our predecessors who have adopted terms and have practically gone through the process of translation whether they were specialists or not. From Al-Khawarizmi to Ibn Ishaq to Ibn Sina (Avicenna) to Ibn al-Baytar to others, and they are technically as numerous as the techniques they have seperately adopted based on what they have observed and concluded. Because Arabic - no matter how ancient and rich it is - has always needed and still in fact needs its vocabulary to be regularly updated, as this figures among lexicographers and translators’ top priorities since the goal is crystal clear - at least to me -; an accurate translation of, and using, more accurate terms.
