To avoid the numerous failures that have been noticed in the ‎management of big enterprises, the choice has been done on smaller ‎and medium ones as a strategic decision. The Algerian authorities ‎have encouraged these enterprises to reach the economic ‎development.‎ ‎ ‎ This study aimed at giving a broad view about the topic ‎‎“economic development strategies in Algeria” and its close ‎relationship with small and medium enterprises and its impact on the ‎different economic levels such as: employment, development of ‎exports, and creation of wealth.‎
