Legal protection of computer programs According to the rules ofAuthor Rights Due to the quick development of Information Technology and the wide spread of Internet network, there has been an urgent need to enact laws and legislations to protect digital works from illegal use and piracy.Perhaps the computer programmes have become, for a long time, one of the themes representing intellectual property that has sparked much legal contorversy as they reflect different sides about Provisions relating to works of Computer on one hand, and works of internet network on other hand. From this point, we try to shed light on the legal provisions and the mechanisms used in international conventions and national laws to activate legal protection of computer programmes in accordance with the rules of Author Rights.
