أثر الدخل السياحي على احتياطي العملة الأجنبية في الأردن: دراسة قياسية

Abstract This study aims to investigate the effect of tourism income on foreign exchange reserves in Jordan during the period 1994-2008. The regression model is applied to the following variables: net foreign currency as representative of dependent variable, tourism income and exports represent independent variables. Moreover, The function of net reserves for hard currency was estimated according to the OLS method. Through the various results of the applied tests, the study found a positive relationship between the net reserves of foreign currency and tourism income and exports. Also, The effect of tourism income on foreign currency reserves was Greater than the impact of exports.
