الترجمة الذاتية بين الاحتكام إلى الترجمة و الاحتكام إلى الذات

The present paper aims at shedding light on self-translation, trying to encompass some of the issues akin to it such as bilingualism, rewriting and recreating, with a glance at its procedures, degrees, types and categories. The main purpose is to find out the reasons that had some writers resort to self-translation, and whether they took into consideration the ‘rules’ of translation proper or did they self-translate regardless of them.
