Medjaoui’s ideology
The most important ideological and civilizational heritage
left by Cheikh Abd-el-Kader -el-Medjaoui for Algeria are these
generations of knowledge students and disciples who in turn
taught many scholars, judges and teachers, journalists, poets and men of letter who constituted by their contributions to the
contemporary a solid core in Algerian renaissance. Indeed, few
are scholars teachers who had this honour during the last third
of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century. In
Algeria, He is called “Sheikh of the Djemaa” and is considered
the father of the scientific renaissance in Algeria. Also, Sheikh
Abd-el-Kader -el-Medjaoui left different kind of works more
than fifteen works arising from his teachings to students and
what he had discussed with his students and colleagues.
What has distinguished the ideology of Sheikh Abd-el-Kader
-el-Medjaoui is that it is more often of Algerian local nature.
Indeed, it is the fruit of French-Algerian cultural relations. This
is why the majority of his literary production is known to be
local and translate spirit dominance. Also, his works focused on
the field of heritage, current social affairs in addition to the
Arabic journalistic field. In addition, the educational and
reformist trend that Medjaoui attended is blatant for the France
homage, not calling to an opposition movement and not chairing
any pro-independence political party but has resorted to the
Daaoua, knowledge, knowledge, vigilance, the imitation of the
Europeans, the social within the existing system diseases
treatment focusing on the characteristics of the Algerian from
the civilizational perspective.
